Inviting a candidate

Invite a candidate to complete a code challenge

Once your organization has been approved, you'll be able to invite candidates to complete code challenges by visiting app.qualified.dev.

Click the Invite a Candidate button.

Enter candidate details

You'll be prompted to enter your candidate's:

  • Name

  • Email address

  • Target skill level (junior to senior-level developer)

  • Code challenge type (web frontend, backend or mobile)

NOTE: Your candidate's personal information, such as name and email address, will not be exposed to PullRequest engineers who complete the assessment. All candidate PII information entered into our system is hashed to preserve anonymity as part of one of the measures we take to remove factors that may in any way influence assessment scores.

The candidate's email address to send them code challenge instructions. We collect their name to populate our management dashboard, as part of progress notifications that are sent to your internal team, and in the finalized report.

Enter programming language/framework details

Depending on the Code challenge type selected in the previous step, you'll be asked to specify a programming language or framework the technical assessment be written for.

The selections are:

If you don't see the specific selection you're looking for, select Other.

Confirm details and send

You'll be asked to confirm your candidate's details and send the invitation.

All invitations are reviewed by PullRequest before getting sent. If we have any questions, we'll reach out to you prior to communicating with your candidate.
